What it is

Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Equine Wound Care is a spray for wounds and skin irritations on horses. Its active ingredient is hypochlorous acid (0.013%) in electrolyzed water. Vetericyn lists cuts, scrapes, abrasions, rope burns, saddle wounds, abscesses, post-surgical incision sites, and pressure sores among its uses.

How it's used

Vetericyn's directions are to clip excess hair, saturate the area to flush away debris, and repeat 3 to 4 times a day or as needed. No rinsing is needed. If you also use fly spray, Vetericyn says to apply its product first and wait at least 60 seconds.
