What it is

Vetericyn Hoof Soak is a powder for horses' hooves. Vetericyn markets it for sole and frog damage caused by abscesses, thrush, and white line separation.

How it's used

Clean the hoof, dissolve the whole jar in a gallon of room-temperature water in a bucket or soaking boot, and soak the hoof for 40 to 60 minutes. Don't rinse afterward. It's for hooves only: not for open wounds, and not for human use.

A note on health products

We report what the manufacturer says and don't make health claims of our own. Talk to your vet or farrier about an abscess or a condition that gets worse.

Pro connection

Vetericyn sponsors a Rodeo Athlete Ambassador Team and lists the products each athlete uses on its team page. The athletes below are named with this product there. This is a brand sponsorship, so read it as the brand's own marketing rather than independent evidence.
